A New Breed of Fantasy Writers in India is Coming up!

My first encounter with the world of Magics happened to be with the Tolkien's Middle Earth, and from there onwards I made Fantasy as my sole-key to Nirvana. India is fortunate to have writers like Arundhati Roy, Khushwant Singh, Arvind Adiga, Jhumpa Lahiri, R. K. Narayan etc., who have made India proud in the world of novels and literature. But what disappoints me are the Fantasy writings that are coming up these days. They are claimed to fall in the Fantasy genre only on the basis of few magical elements and a non-existent worlds and creatures.
